International Fiber Systems, Inc. (IFS) was founded in 1986 and has been a pioneer in fiber optic transmission technology since its inception. It was gradually incorporated into the General Electric Group and in 2010 merged with the worldwide operating company UTC Fire & Security.

The company's product range has a wide range of analog and digital elements used in CCTV surveillance and monitoring technology, in the construction of security, fire and access systems, in industry and wherever it is necessary to ensure the conversion of electrical interfaces to multimode or singlemode optical fibers.

The product range includes more than 300 types of converters for heterogeneous transmissions of upstream video, audio or data signals and contact states. The company also offers products with specialized interfaces for global manufacturers of CCTV, control and security technology such as Ademco, Bosch, Cerberus, Cohu, CSI, Honeywell, Kalatel, Panasonic, Pelco, Sensormatic, Ultrak, Vicon, Video Alarm, Westinghouse and more.
